So here's the deal...Okay- so here's the deal with me:I'm... 1. Canceling my text messaging service on my phone, because I really can't justify spending $20 a month on sending texts to one person- my girlfriend. I don't text anyone else. I can I can do better things with that money. 2. Subscribing to Netflix- as of yesterday, I signed up for the $8.99 unlimited plan. I can check out 1 dvd at a time, plus unlimited streaming movies & tv shows to my computer and Xbox 360. That's cheap as hell, considering that it costs me nearly $5 every time I rent a movie from Blockbuster. 3. Actively applying for jobs- I mean pretty heavily. I've been hitting up a lot of companies' websites and physical locations in my local area. The best thing that I've done is create a Monster.com profile & built a resume- I applied & uploaded my resume to about 20+ companies this morning, seeking a job. 4. Getting my ducks in a row for my Twin Galaxies writing gig. As soon as I get my non-disclosure agreement through, I'll be locked & loaded- ready to go. Pray that I get a job interview/job by the end of this next week. Please- I need the prayer, and you need the practice. |
