ODSTI like to pronounce it as a single word.So the launch was kinda lame at my store. I was 3rd in line and 5th to get the game because while everyone (including me) waited outside in a single file line, some smart guys waited in the store and just got it at midnight. Oh well. I beat it on normal earlier today, by myself. Didn't touch co-op or Firefight yet (however, I did get all the skulls--thanks youtube, I owe you one). Was the campaign worth it? Yep. Joystiq reviewer said he wished the sun would come up. I disagree. I didn't mind the VISR mode and besides, the flashbacks are light enough and interspersed between the darkness to provide variety. Said reviewer also couldn't connect with the characters. I disagree ONLY because I love Firefly. Seeing Firefly is a prerequisite to loving the characters. They say you're so weak and human but I disagree. Put it on easy mode and just say things like "I need a weapon." and "Sir, finishing this fight." and you're good to go! Gavino said it was better than Halo 3. He has a point, but I don't think so. Although...all I could think about was finishing the campaign whenever I wasn't playing. I have a pitiful life at the moment though. Now I have to get the firefight vidmaster and the deja vu vidmaster for recon. Whee. |
