Waikiki......ALOHA!

Happy Friday,

I'm here in Waikiki on the island of Oahu. This is a beautiful place and a little R & R was needed. Kama is racing in one of the biggest Outrigger Canoe races on Sunday. He is on Molokai already and on Sunday morning over 1000 paddlers from all over the world will cross the Molokai Channel, 41 miles, to Duke Kahanamoku's beach here on Oahu. I will be here to cheer the Marina men's team when they arrive. I'll post pic's as much as I can and some videos. I do update my FB often since I can do that from my iphone, so if you are my friend...check it out!

Last night I was at bingo, and one of the ladies sitting at the table in front of me spilled her coffee all over her table. She cleaned it up the best she could, but she was pretty upset so she went out for a cigarette or to complain to the other smoking ladies (not sure which) and when she came back there was a small stack of tissues and a card on top that would get her four free coffees. The idea was that she wouldn't know who left them there, but she was a smart cookie and figured it out very quickly. She was very happy for the rest of the night.

When you said he'll be paddling from Molokai, I was wondering why you weren't on Maui...but seeing as he should end up where you are now, I guess it makes more sense!!! Hope you enjoy Hawaii!!! Beautiful state if you ask me!!!
