For my programming peeps

After three days trying to debug my java hw (4 days late now and haven't started the next assignment... Captain Ahab must have his white whale), I found where my botch was:

I used || instead of &&. Stupid logic errors.

In other news, go see Zombieland. Then, when you go see it the second time let me know 'cause I'm up for that movie twice. And dvd. And whatever format replaces BluRay.

Classes are eating up my life but are going well, I found a vial of conductive ink I had hidden away in my components bag and my roommate is still among the living. Two out of three isn't bad.

You programming true Java or JavaScript? I've never actually used Java now that I think about it. Just JavaScript, ActionScript (what was used my Flash back in it's Macromedia days haven't looked into whether Adobe kept that language), and of course C++. A little machine language scripting. The teacher didn't teach us how to write anything just how it operates and how to debug it. Which is funny because you can't debug anything that you don't understand. That's like telling someone who only knows American English to translate something in German to British English. Yes, I make distinctions between countries that speak the same language.

In reply to PtownHippie, #1: Java Java. The teacher has a trial by fire style of teaching, which wasn't the bad part. Wasting all that time on this hw (not even finished >.<) when I need it for my other classes, that hurt the team.

Man...i took Java in high school....i was so bad at it. My husband on the other hand is a programmer. He's very smart. Programming makes my brain hurt.
