Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Issues

Anybody have any tips for syncing a new wireless controller to a 360? I've followed the directions and tried a couple different things and I can't for the life of me get the damn controller to sync! ARGH!

Ok I got it. Thanks for combined info from Lewis and Emily! Woot!

On the positive side....The Hip Hop Project opens on Thursday, which means Chris will have a bunch more time opening up.

Push the sync on the 360, then hold the sync on the controller until they match up. Best advice is to have them as close as possible while doing so. Also, try unplugging the 360 and removing the battery pack to reset the electronics and give it another go. Hope it helps

Turn your 360 off and let it sit the night w/o it bein plugged in. Same for the controller. Try again in the morning. It fixed mine when I had that problem. Yay for free time! Will you do my homework for me? :)

You should get this if you're planning on using the wireless controller a lot.

good thing you got it working. Wireless controllers are too damn expensive to have them fail on you. >_<

this is why i have a wired controller. i still get funny looks, sometimes, but i never get out of sync.
