b to the ummer

The Halloween show I was doing shadow puppetry for canceled. I was getting stressed about it, so I'm kind of glad, but it still is a bit of a shame. On the bright side, Geoff and I are going to dress up for Halloween this year. We're very excited because other than a last minute (stuff from our closet) attempt in 2005, we have never done this together.

Millie has changed her mind a few times (butterfly-->butterfly fairy--> bat--> rainbow vampire-->vampire w/bat wings) and has finally settled on mermaid.

This is the first time in years I've actually put a costume together and was looking forward to doing stuff. Nope. Halloween had to fall on a weekend. Now I have to work the nights of the 30th and 31st, missing out on any and all parties/plans/shenanigans I was looking forward to. B to the ummer, indeed. Post edited 10/24/09 1:38PM

Well, there is a Halloween party with some of my sisters friends but I don't have anything to go as. I'm hoping my Caboose "I do not want to get pregnancy" shirt will be good enough for something...It's worth a try at least.

I'm afraid hubby and I are not doing anything this year. We'll be moving 3 days after Halloween, so all of our funds are in the new house and all of our time will be spent cleaning up the apartment. But, next year, we'll have a house to throw a Halloween party in, so there's that!

I'll be working Halloween night, as it's almost always one of our busiest nights at the pizza place. I haven't dressed up or gone out for trick or treating since I was in seventh grade, but I've been working on my Christopher Walken impression for the kiddies........

I think I'm gonna go as Zoey from L4D cause it's a cheap, easy costume, my hair is the right color/length, and I'm a broke college chick on a campus full of gamer boys. Think I can get free ~~candy~~beer from them? :P

I think Millie might be my favorite Kid ever. Rainbow Vampire. I was going to go as the Cheshire Cat for an Alice in Wonderland themed party, but the party was canceled... So i have no idea any more.
