Posts that LingerAs some of you are already aware of Trocadero is releasing their new album next month. You may have also seen the little video I put together that includes an excellent sample of the various tracks that populate the upcoming disc. I am here to pimp this video and to talk a little bit about "Ghosts That Linger". Two things though: I am not being paid I don't say shit I don't mean. Especially when it comes to music. You could be my Bestest Bestie from East to Westie but if your music sucks, I might find something nice or encouraging to say about it your efforts (That's some excellent room tone!), but I won't listen to it on any sort of regular basis...because I don't like it. I have had the rough version of the Ghosts That Linger for 3 weeks now. I listen to parts of it or all of it. Everyday. Since I got it.  *Seriously - how awesome is that album cover? I will eventually write something closer to a review and an objective review at that. More describing what I hear versus whether I think it's good or not. But all you need to know for now is I will be buying my own copy so I can burn it to my xbox. And I may buy a few copies for friends as gifts. Just as with Roosterteeth products (which I support verbally and financially) I support Trocadero and this new offering. Again, i wouldn't if i didn't like it. Now, since I know them, I will do what I can to help them promote this excellent record. My first step was this video. I will also be editing the next Awesome On Its Own video which will be for the Trocadero song "A Girl Named Tex". I also have one or two more things up my sleeve but those are being kept close to the vest for now. I have reposted the Ghosts That Linger sampler video on my youtube page. It has some minor changes from the version on trocadero.net and it looks a lot better as far as video quality goes. I am asking that you watch it again, rate it, comment on it, favorite it, and link it to your friends. I would love the sampler to help bring attention to this record and give the band as much recognition and attention as they deserve for making something so awesome. If you wish to support the band, please mod this journal so it makes it into community stats.
