Fragments
So a while back (almost a year, now that I think about it), I started writing a fanfic for Avatar: The Last Airbender. I got a prologue and two chapters done before it fell by the wayside.
That's still not going anywhere, but a couple days ago I started a new fic about Janeway's decision to enter the admiralty, and it's going really well. The plan is for five chapters with a prologue (finished) and an epilogue (currently working on). I have some ideas for the middle but I want my frame set before I get to the good stuff.
It essentially came out of the contentions I've read about Janeway's promotion. People said she was copping out, some said she didn't deserve such a big step so fast, others say she shouldn't have accepted on her first offer. But she did accept it, and I wanted to explore her reasons for doing so. So, let the writ flow.
