thijsbosJournalTo the heroes of the 101st.

November 9th, 2009

To the heroes of the 101st.

This journal is in memoration of you all, the fallen and the survivors.

Especially those of Easy Company (with the exception of Captain Sobel and Lieutenant Dike).

To answer your question: Yes, I have been re-watching Band of Brothers.
Now I want the book. And the autobiography written by Winters and the book written by Guarnere and Heffron.

There's another one, but 3 should do it, right?

Anyway, I want to give my respect at this seemingly random date (which happens to be the day the Berlin Wall fell as well and ended the cold war) to memorate not only the Heroes of Easy, both alive and deceased, and not even the other participants in WW2, but to all soldiers abroad, that have served, died, lived and are still in service.

Does this have to do with Market Garden or something?

Also, I love Band of Brothers! Even more since it's a true story.

I love how America's military is like, the world's army. We're just BA like that. hahaha. There's like three other countries with great military that aren't communistic. Sad how that works. Someone has to help keep the peace and kick ass. America has it. :D

I wasn't talking about America's military alone. The Brits, Canadians, Dutch, the French (ugh, I can't believe I actually said that), and the other country's fighting for freedom.
