more updates. with photos! Now listening to Time is Running Out by Muse.yes I'm stealing a page from BigNiceJohn with the "now playing" but, but this song has been on a near constant repeat on my MP3 player for the past few days. it has the perfect sound for rushing to get everything done in time, and never giving up. Hi everyone. I am so freaking busy lately. it's awesome. I honestly can say I love my life. You know I'm busy, I know it. I'm trying to distract myself right now. See, tomorrow I start filming my movie. Yes, tomorrow, I film, my movie. first day of production. we shoot Friday Saturday and Sunday. I'm ready, but I'm also nervous as hell right now, and kinda freaking out. so to take my mind off it, and chill for a bit, I'm going to update you and some stuff I've done in the past few weeks. and post photos. Pre production can run you raged. I'm so tired right now. I think I even look run down. Can you tell? Just kidding, that was me back during the Zombie walk, the weekend before Halloween. my clothes are also ripped and covered in stage blood. it was fun. I mentioned I went on the zombie walk, just never posted a photo. A friend of mine did the makeup, it doesn't show so much in the photo, but it's awesomely done, she put on liquid latex, then peeled some back so it looked like parts of my skin were falling off under the blood. it was so cool. Honestly though, pre production is lots of work. I never thought I'd use my phone as much as I am, for the last week I've called about 10 people a day. so much phone calling. but it's all paid off, filming tomorrow. woo. next up, remember when I said I was in boondock saints 2? well, I saw the film. short version is it was awful. it's just... really bad. has a few funny moments, but over all it's painful. BUT, you can see me in the film. so that's kinda cool. after seeing the film I hung out with the group of people who were extras in the film. also Troy Duffy was there (director of the first and second film.) Yeah I didn't like his script, but it was decently directed, plus I still like the first one. not great, but is fun. sequel, aside from a few cool shots, and me being in it... sigh. But I saw it for free, so that was cool. Speaking of movies I saw for free, next up is I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell. based on the book of the same name by Tucker Max. the book was funny. it's sickening, and Tucker Max is a pretty loathsome human being, but he's a entertaining writer. and it's a great novelty book, mainly in the "holy shit I can't believe there are people like this in the world." The film was awful. the only redeeming point is the character of Drew (sling blade in the book) he was a good actor, and had great comedic timing. the rest of the film was bland, obnoxious, and unlikable. the book has a sleazy charm, the film didn't. but Tucker Max was there as well, so I got the meet him and he signed my book. Ever the narcissistic asshole, he signed my book "Hi Charlie, I'M AWESOME. Tucker Max." but saw it for free, so can't complain. (I love having friends in the film schools around Toronto, they throw these free events and tell me when and where.) so... that's been some stuff going on lately. plus all the pre production stuff. Filming tomorrow. so excited. wish me luck folks, I doubt you'll see me online at all over the weekend.
