So my grandma passed away yesterday. She went into the hospital last week because she was in a lot of pain. The leukemia had progressed pretty quickly and there wasn't really much more that could be done for her. I really miss her already and wish that she was still here but I know that she was in a lot of pain and now she doesn't have to suffer anymore.

hugz When my grandmother died not long ago, it was agony watching her in pain and waiting for the inevitable end to come which took weeks. I am sorry for your loss but glad she's no longer suffering.

I sorry to hear this. But like you said, she is not in pain anymore and she was surrounded by people who loved her. hugs

When my grandfather died, he wanted us (his family) not to mourn the life he lost, but rather to celebrate the wonderful life he lived. I suggest trying that. It helped us a lot. <3 Be well, Jess.
