" Wake up Gunny!" Thats what I heard as my good friend Sgt. Leroy Jackson pulled me off the ground. the shell had nearly killed me, but for some reason I was merely knocked of my feet. We had landed over an hour ago and we were just now getting into the city, 30 minutes behind schedule. That both bugged and disturbed me. We're Force Recon, we always get it done on time. we spent that night stalled holding a very staggered line along a highway on the outskirts of Oslo, Norway, with afew advanced teams in even deeper. I prayed that night that reinforcements would come. It wasn't answered, we were crawled forward for 4 more days until relief arrived. Damn I hated that war.
