I think Dead as History is unlikely to hear live, besides; they'd need a musical saw for that, although I suppose I could always offer to do that part for them next time they come to London
Hey man, just recognised your profile pic, cool to see another dillinger fan on here; don't know how much of the new stuff you've heard, but they played a couple of songs from Option Paralysis in london a couple of weeks ago; sounds insane! Rock on!
Is that a favorite drummer list, or best drummer? If it's the former, it seems odd not to see Neil Peart. The reason I say this is because Mike Portnoy is just an unleashed carbon copy of Neil who was doing it back in the 70s. It's the same reason I have Buddy Rich. Peart actually played in a tribute to Rich after he died and he's one of the only ones who could have done it.
The reason I don't have Joey Jordison is the sound of his drums. I don't like the flat sound. His snare almost sounds like just a normal tom and his floor toms sound like a bass drum. The talent is definitely there, he's just very ridiculous.
I have Keith Moon as #5, but that spot is just about open to whomever I respect. Dave Grohl could definitely be in my #5 spot.
