Okay, that guy is awesome. I'm going to try that at the next London gig! Probably to Milk Lizard or, as you say, Setting Fire.

On second thoughts, I'd probably have to get better at guitar before I can do that.. shit.

Btw, just remembered I did a trace of the photo you use as your avatar a couple of years back, let me know what you think.

I think Dead as History is unlikely to hear live, besides; they'd need a musical saw for that, although I suppose I could always offer to do that part for them next time they come to London

I do indeed smell that whore (wooo).

Good find with the girlfriend. Any chick that likes Dillinger must be cool.

For your sake I hope they play Mouth of Ghosts in Minnesota, because that song is unbelieveable live.

Hey man, just recognised your profile pic, cool to see another dillinger fan on here; don't know how much of the new stuff you've heard, but they played a couple of songs from Option Paralysis in london a couple of weeks ago; sounds insane! Rock on!

No, I've just played the demo. I'll probably put it on my GameFly and maybe I'll get it after I beat Uncharted.

Indeed he is! Personally, I would drop Mustaine or Weinman in place for Satch.

Guitarists is always a tough one for me since there are so many amazing ones out there. But here's a list:

5 Pete Townsend
4 Buckethead
3 Stevie Ray Vaughn
2 John Pettrucci
1 Joe Satriani

Just like with my drummer list the #5 spot could belong to a number of people including Jimmi Hendricks and Jimmy Paige.

Ok, I was wondering.

I try to be really respectful to people's opinions, but there's a few people whose talent is undeniable.

Is that a favorite drummer list, or best drummer? If it's the former, it seems odd not to see Neil Peart. The reason I say this is because Mike Portnoy is just an unleashed carbon copy of Neil who was doing it back in the 70s. It's the same reason I have Buddy Rich. Peart actually played in a tribute to Rich after he died and he's one of the only ones who could have done it.

The reason I don't have Joey Jordison is the sound of his drums. I don't like the flat sound. His snare almost sounds like just a normal tom and his floor toms sound like a bass drum. The talent is definitely there, he's just very ridiculous.

I have Keith Moon as #5, but that spot is just about open to whomever I respect. Dave Grohl could definitely be in my #5 spot.
