KEITH I am so close to being published. FATE And yet, you don't control the factors that prevent you from going forward. How does that feel? KEITH Fuck you. FATE Well at least you have your love life to fall back on. How is Bethany? KEITH Fuck you. FATE Oh right. It went from Amber, to Bethany, to Loraine, to Melissa, to Kaitlyn, to Katie and now Tabatha. KEITH Which is six more in a year's time then I have ever asked out in my entire life. Tell's me I've improved. FATE Tell's me you have a car and moved out. KEITH It was a confidence and self esteem booster. FATE So tell me. Is Tabatha, Amber 2.0 Or Bethany 2.0? KEITH Neither. FATE Oh, even better. She's Tabatha 1.0. And she really is because while you knew she said she has an exhusband, you didn't know until today, she is still married to him, while she has another boyfriend. KEITH He was in Afganistan. She couldn't get a divorce while he was over sea's. It'll go through/ FATE Right, but what about her boyfriend. That's a familiar situation isn't it? KEITH ...... FATE Yeah, a whole new mistake to learn from. How many of those do you have to make before you finally learn? Did you ever hear from Amber again? Did you ever get your money you borrowed to Bethany back? Did you ever get your books back? KEITH I will not give up. Next year will be different. FATE How will next year be different? Will you find Tabatha 2.0? KEITH Not dating saves me money I can spend on submitting comics. FATE For someone that's in charge of your submissions, I'm amazed you haven't got the cover back you paid for a year ago. KEITH Everything is under control. FATE Yes, I know that. But it's not under YOUR control. KEITH My life will have a happy ending. And it won't be for a long time.
