Oscar Nominations came out! Personally I'm rooting for The Hurt Locker in all major catagories, with Christoph Waltz for Supporting Actor and District 9 for Adapted Screenplay. Aside from The Hurt Locker, I'm good with District 9, Up, and Inglourious Basterds winning the awards for crafting an actual story that engages me. Avatar deserves to win technical awards and nothing else.
Lost premiered last night with the usual chorus of "WTF?!" As per usual, there was very little advancement of the actual plot until the second hour. AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE STORYLINE IN A JJ ABRAMS PRODUCTION? NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE IN THE LAST YEAR... :P
