Umm Book

Yeah I wrote one. It's my photography in the past few years along with my writing of the past couple years. I have really gotten into poetry as a form of personal expression. Philosophy is one of the features of existence that really makes my life purposeful in my mind. It is one of the most stimulating intellectual pursuits that exists, in my opinion.

Oh, I don't give a shit about downtown. I was happy with the way the cops handled everything on campus when things were starting to get out of control. People's safety was at risk and they did their job to put a stop to that.

Never paid attention to anything that went on in town. All I know is, a lot of people came in from out of town and broke a lot of shit in my hometown. Probably not going to be sympathetic for them either.

Here's the bottom line. The cops told everyone that it was dangerous and they should go back to their dorms. Eventually they were going to start making arrests and using tear gas. They gave us roughly a four hour window to comply. If anyone decided they just had to stay out and be a pest, I don't feel bad for them. They could easily have avoided any kind of conflict. But they had to get in the way and give the cops a hard time. Their fault. No sympathy.

No. Having attended the riots myself, that was not a violation of the first amendment. That was a bunch of anarchists looking for an excuse to run around, break windows, and light stuff on fire. The police took over and told everyone to go back to their dorms and stay off the streets. I don't feel bad at all for the people who stayed outside and got tear gassed. They gave us like four hours to leave.

Besides, what was anyone REALLY going to change with a cardboard sign made with sharpie when all the world leaders were at least a half mile away from campus anyway?
