Halo Reach Update
I think I need to practice up with the Covenant Carbine. since the DMR is a single shot battle rifle technically, the Carbine basically is identical to the DMR. ![]() This weapon already sounds like a power house and I haven't even seen the 1st Person View yet. This will undoubtedly be my favorite weapon in the Halo series. Bungie also released that this has the exact same power level as the Carbine. So; about 6-8 head-shots. This will definitely make MLG players change up there style since there is no three-shot burst weapon anymore. This was, undoubtedly, change up SWAT forever. A single shot to the head with no shield and BAM! your dead. I really can't wait for this very versatile weapon. "The single-shot DMR fits somewhere between the sniper rifle and the battle rifle. It's deadly at range, but a quick trigger finger and careful aim assure that even at medium to short distances it packs a punch." I might need to fit in some Assault Rifle practice. With the assault rifles return from Halo CE. It's gonna be a tad-bit more inaccurate. The damage level is almost identical to the SMG damage level in Halo 3. ![]() I like the hue of this weapon already. The sound is more explosive and makes it sound more powerful. This is a great cover fire weapon in my opinion making this a good infiltration weapon also. Having the AR back like this makes me feel like I'm 12 when I first played Halo 1. "No quotes." Now, onto the not-so-new sniper rifle according to most people. It actually is redesigned in a way that makes it very versatile. ![]() Now, the new thing about is the is ROF: Remember in Halo CE how fast it fired? It fires at that same speed again making it a better no-scoping weapon. The scope now has the coveted night-vision back into it. Now with new night multiplayer maps, this tool can be utilized better in those situations. The only difference that's new is the damage. It takes almost 6/7 of your health away, that's practically all of it. "No quotes." Now, onto the Needle Rifle. Basically a long range needler, it's easy to tell that this was a "prototype" to the Covenant Carbine. There is nothing I can really practice with, since it only takes 3 needles to super-combine that probably means that the ROF is real slow. Sadly: No sound for it yet Also on another sad note, there is very little known about this weapon right now, even in the Halo universe little is known about the weapon. And the saddest note; the needles don't heat seek any more. In my opinion; the DMR will probably be my favorite primary for a very long time. Due to it's versatility and style. Getting practice in now means a better chance of surviving the dangerous environment of Reach. . . |
